WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with proven experience in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
- Good numerical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans & English.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- High level of problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid forklift operator’s license advantegeous.
- Receive, inspect and record incoming shipments of goods.
- Organise and maintain inventory storage areas for easy access and efficient stock rotation.
- Monitor inventory levels and generate cycle counts daily, potential shortages and excesses.
- Verification and investigation between physical quantities in stock with those in the daily cycle count and undertake the necessary corrective measures in case of discrepancies.
- Ensure all stock and products are placed into the correct area/racks and ensure all items have correct stock code labels.
- Isolate and report damaged stock to Manager.
- Inspect all areas of the department in terms of the Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Investigate and report all incidents / accidents.
- Participate in bi-annual stock take.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and Forklift, checking for safety and maintenance issues.
- Manage schedules and adhere to delivery timelines.
- Ensure store, warehouse and workstation is always tidy and clean.

REGISTERED NURSE – SCRUB

Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse / Midwife or equivalent NQF 7 qualifications.
- Diploma in Operating Theatre will be advantageous.
- Minimum 1 year post-graduate patient care experience in an operational environment with relevant experience in the nursing discipline.
- Must have the capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans & English.
- Capacity to cooperate with others to work towards a common goal.
- Above average interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ensure Bill of Materials (Picking slips) with correct references is always updated and available taking into consideration doctors’ preferences and changes communicated to the stock controllers.
- Ensure consignment stock is well controlled and charged. The “pink” book completed timeously.
- Ensure all stock, gasses and scheduled medicines are charged appropriately using Mo-Bit, and the BOM sheet completed with correct procedure descriptions equivalent to peri-operative descriptions / CareOn electronic system.
- Ensure the Peri-Operative document / BOM / CareOn and theatre registers are maintained and completed accurately.
- Intra-operative anaesthetic information printed and stapled into peri-operative document/ downloaded on CareOn.
- Assist with completing relevant capital expenditure documentation year end, and obtain quotations for instrumentation and or equipment that is beyond economical repair.
- Practice patient care according to the Scope of Practice and assume total responsibility for these activities.
- Contribute to the holistic care of patients.
- Promote and maintain good public relation with patients and doctors.
- Execute all procedures according to hospital theatre standards.
- Oversee and manage issued scheduled medicines in theatre.
- Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with the Machinery and Occupational Safety Act.
- Maintain set Policies and Standards regarding Surgical Oause, surgical swab and sharp count.
- Perform other duties as reasonably requested by the Unit Manager or senior member of staff.
