SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Requirements:
- Bachelors’ degree or diploma in Business, Marketing or Sales.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a sales environment preferably in electrical will be beneficial.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets and bringing in new clients.
- Great interpersonal & communication skills in Afrikaans & English.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and familiarity with an ERP system.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Identify and target potential customers in the electrical industry in the identified distribution areas.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Create an external market by promoting and obtaining product specifications from vendors such as developers and electrical contractors.
- Conduct cold calls, visits and presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements with key customers.
- Assume responsibility for revenue targets, consistently meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
- Effectively manage numerous customers concurrently, smooth coordination and punctual product delivery.
- Prepare accurate and competitive pricing structures for customers and work closely with pricing and procurement teams to ensure pricing consistency.
- Increase sales by actively pinpointing new product distribution opportunities within existing distribution channels.
- Nurturing and maintaining strong connections with clients to foster trust, satisfaction and loyalty.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure that customers receive necessary technical support for product selection and usage.
- Maintain detailed records of sale activities, customer interactions and sales orders.
- Generate monthly and weekly sales and call reports for management.
- Participate in bi-annual stock take.
- Help with daily cycle counts.
- Perform other duties as requested or required from Branch Manager.
