Requirements:
- B Degree in Procurement with at least 2 years relevant experience, preferably within the FMCG / Retail environment.
- Specialist knowledge of paint products and paint procurement
- Strong category & product knowledge
- Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Own transport and valid driver’s licence, with willingness to travel
- Ability to work extended hours during peak periods
- Act as the main contact for suppliers and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Identify product optimisation and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support product development, seasonal planning, and category strategies.
- Negotiate pricing, resolve discrepancies, and manage supplier performance.
- Purchase products according to demand plans and monitor supply risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with category needs.
- Maintain accurate pricing and procurement data within the ERP system.
