Requirements:
- Qualified Diesel and motor Mechanic with minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills.
- Strong admin skills.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
- Sound Knowledge of Scania and Volvo Trucks as well as Planthire equipment with Side Tipper, Flat Deck and Tanker experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to cope with pressure depending on work volumes.
- Must be willing to work overtime.
- Ensuring that Planthire, Workshop, Electrical and Tyres/Tarpaulins department, operational functions and implementation are effectively handled.
- Ensure all repairs and duties are performed as needed.
- Proactive problem identification of possible truck defects.
- Ensure all trailers and vehicles are roadworthy and comply with regulations of the Road Traffic Act.
- Manage information and elements as well as sufficient reporting.
- Ensure employee discipline and control according to company standards and requirements.
- Time management.

REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

Requirements:
- Matric with Refrigeration qualification and Trade Test, with at least 2 years Refrigeration and Customer service experience.
- Gas handling license.
- Good knowledge of operational geographical area of operation.
- Excellent knowledge of refrigeration equipment and mechanical and electrical principles.
- Must be able to work under pressure with attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good administrative- and computer literacy skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to travel, when needed.
- Preventative maintenance and repairs of refrigeration equipment.
- Attend refrigeration callouts according to set timeframes.
- Fault finding and repairs on refrigeration equipment.
- Manage car stock and submit stock orders timeously.
- Ensure all administrative documents are completed when stock is returned and/or given to team members.
- Submission of daily job cards.
- Update outlet record boards within the prescribed manner.
- Ensure vehicle inspection is done one a week and submitted to the operations administrators.
- Any other tasks and/or responsibilities that could be reasonably expected for the position.
